Things To Do

From fireworks displays on Thanksgiving and the 4th of July to food trucks lining the streets during the summertime, there is never a shortage of things to do in North Buckhead. Residents are within walking distance of major points of interest, such as Lenox Square Mall, Phipps Plaza, and Chastain Park. Streets are lined with sidewalks, making North Buckhead easily walkable. The Atlanta BeltLine (Path 400), which features 33 miles of multi-use trails lined with public art and retail, will connect North Buckhead to 44 other in-town neighborhoods. Conveniently located near all of Atlanta’s expressways and the Buckhead and Lenox MARTA rail stations, commuting and getting around town has never been easier. Some of Atlanta’s finest dining and best shopping is just down the street from residents of North Buckhead.

North Buckhead is served by the Atlanta Public Schools district, featuring three schools in the area: Sarah Smith Elementary School (with two campuses), Willis Sutton Middle School, and North Atlanta High School. North Atlanta High School relocated to the former IBM office building at the beginning of the 2013-2014 school year, and its former campus is now home to the 7th and 8th grades of Willis Sutton Middle School. North Buckhead also features a multitude of private schools.
